New Delhi, March 23 (UNI) A fire broke out at the kitchen of Hard Rock Cafe in Connaught Place today afternoon, causing concern among people and adjacent establishments.
According to fire brigade officials, a call regarding the incident was received around 12:31 PM, following which four fire engines were rushed to the spot.
Firefighters acted swiftly and managed to bring the blaze under control by approximately 12:50 PM.
Initially, the caller said that the fire had broken out in the LIC building. However, it was later confirmed that the fire originated in the kitchen of Hard Rock Cafe, located on the third floor of the building.
No injuries or casualties have been reported so far. As a precautionary measure, the area was cordoned off, and emergency teams carried out necessary safety checks.
Given the heavy footfall in Connaught Place, authorities ensured a prompt response to prevent any escalation of the situation.
