- Lives alone, no suicide note founs
Bhopal: A 24-year-old female bank employee, Sonali Sharma, was found dead by suicide at her residence in Rohit Nagar, Shahpura, Bhopal. The incident came to light on Wednesday night when the landlord alerted the police after discovering her hanging in her room.
According to Sub-Inspector Jagannath Singh, Sonali Sharma was working in the insurance branch of a private bank. Originally from Uttar Pradesh, she had recently moved to Bhopal three months ago following a transfer from Indore. She was unmarried and lived alone.
On Thursday, her body was handed over to her family members who arrived from Uttar Pradesh, following a post-mortem examination.
Police officials confirmed that no suicide note was found at the scene. Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the suicide. Authorities have seized her mobile phone and are currently retrieving its Call Detail Record (CDR) to gather more information.
