Mumbai, July 25 (UNI) In a moving tribute to one of India’s greatest war heroes, actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar will soon visit Jodhpur to pay his respects to martyr Major Shaitan Singh, ahead of the teaser launch of his upcoming war epic “120 Bahadur”.
The film, which chronicles one of the most valiant yet underrepresented chapters of Indian military history, transports audiences to the treacherous terrains Rezang La during the Indo-China war in 1962.
The film is centred around the extraordinary valour of 120 soldiers from the 13 Kumaon Regiment who fought an entire Chinese battalion at an altitude of 16,000 feet. The teaser of the film will be released on August 2.
Farhan’s visit to Jodhpur serves as both a personal homage and a symbolic act of remembrance, commemorating Major Shaitan Singh, who led his men with unwavering resolve and earned the Param Vir Chakra posthumously for his gallantry.
Directed by Razneesh “Razy” Ghai and jointly produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar (Excel Entertainment) and Amit Chandra (Trigger Happy Studios). “120 Bahadur” is scheduled for a nationwide theatrical release on November 21, 2025.
