Bhopal: In a heartfelt tribute to the Indian Army’s bravery, a Jain family in Bhopal has named their newborn daughter Sindoori Rafale, commemorating a proud moment in the nation’s military history.
On May 6, 2025, India struck deep inside Pakistan, destroying terrorist hideouts in a decisive military operation named “Operation Sindoor”. That very day, a daughter was born in the Jain household — a date etched forever in the country’s memory. Moved by the courage of the armed forces, the family decided to name their daughter Sindoori Rafale, symbolizing strength, valor, and national pride.
“This isn’t just a name — it’s a vow,” said a family member. “Our daughter will grow up knowing what patriotism means. She is not just Lakshmi to us, she is our very own Rani Lakshmibai in spirit.”
The family also recalled the painful events of April 22, when terrorists supported by Pakistan took the lives of soldiers from 26 Indian families in Pahalgam. “We can never forget that sorrow. But May 6 gave us a reason to hold our heads high again.”
With this gesture, the family hopes to inspire others to stand united with the forces and remember the cost of the freedom we often take for granted.
