Bhopal: Club Literati organized an expert talk by Yogesh Pandit, a Cyber Expert and Legal Consultant on Artificial Intelligence at the Swami Vivekanand Library, Bhopal.

Yogesh, a member of the Madhya Pradesh Computer Emergency Response Team shed light on the booming industry of AI and some interesting and useful AI tools. People from diverse fields like IOT, medicine, and biology added their experiences of using AI for increasing efficiency.

He talked about the different tracking tools such as cookies that the Internet uses to track online activity and also talked about deep fake videos that are being generated on the Internet.

He emphasised on the modern world’s problem of information warfare which is causing problems among Countries as information can easily be shared through mobile phones and other devices.

During the latter half of the talk, he shared an important website that everyone should know: cybercrime.gov.in, along with helpline number – 1930, emergency number – 112, Chakshu portal to report fraudsters, TAFCOP to find and report any faulty numbers linked to your Aadhar, Take it Down service where you can report information, and Grievance unit of UPI apps where you can raise minor queries.

He warned people of identity theft and cautioned them in giving personal information with anyone. Instead of these documents, he suggested people can share V Card which can be generated using Digilocker.

He also talked about digital arrest, misuse of social engineering and some preventive measures to combat the rapid changes being brought about by technological advancements.
