Bhopal: The residents of Bhopal experienced a shift in weather on Sunday as heavy clouds blanketed the skies towards the evening, followed by showers later in the night. The showers brought relief from the humid weather.
The Meteorological Department had forecasted rainfall for the region, and the skies did not disappoint. By late afternoon, dark clouds began gathering, gradually covering the city in a dense, grey shroud. As the evening progressed, the humidity soared, hinting at the imminent rainfall.
The showers, accompanied by occasional thunder and lightning, continued intermittently. People welcomed the rain, citing the cool breeze and lowered temperatures.
The Meteorological Department has predicted that the rainfall will continue over the next few days. The department’s spokesperson stated, the current weather pattern indicates that Bhopal will experience intermittent showers and thunderstorms for the next 48 hours.
