Even after the second executive of Congress, infighting in the party is not stopping. Leaders are busy leaving the posts given in both the lists. 6 leaders including former MLA Kalpana Verma of Raigaon have refused to take the post. The leaders who have got the posts are also preparing to leave.
Many leaders are going to leave the post by next week. It is worth noting that Congress has announced the new executive after a long wait, but after the new team of Congress came out, the round of resignations of leaders has started. Sources said that Congress had announced the names of 177 office bearers in the first list, while the names of 158 office bearers were announced in the second list. With this, there are 355 officials in the new executive of Congress till now.
But dissatisfaction is still visible from many districts.
These leaders left the post
After the executive was announced, so far 6 leaders have refused the post. Former MLA Kalpana Verma is also included in this. Earlier, Indore Congress leader Pramod Tandon had left the Congress party, while he was made the secretary in the state executive. But after the list came, he resigned from the post. Similarly, Kalpana Verma, former Congress MLA from Raigaon assembly seat, was made the secretary in the state executive.
