New Delhi, Feb 28 (UNI) During her visit, President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen witnessed the use of the UPI payment mechanism of India at Hyderabad House today.
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen visited a stall put up by some ladies in Hyderabad House and is seen draping a light blue saree with one of the ladies helping to put it against her.
Then one of her team members is seen scanning the QR code and making payment for some product, with the loudspeaker announcing the payment received.
The EU chief then is seen smiling and clapping in appreciation at the quick mode of payment.
