Essence of humanity is lost in a fast-paced world: Muni Shri

Bhopal: “There is no work at all, yet there is no time for a moment,” expressed Muni Shri Praman Sagar Maharaj, founder of Bhavnayoga, during a discourse at Vidya Praman Gurukulam in Avadhpuri. He lamented that while we live under the same roof, intimacy, goodwill, and humanity seem to have been lost in the blind race of the internet, leaving our relationships behind.

Muni Shri illustrated this disconnect with a story about a young man who, when asked where he was going, replied, “I don’t know.” When asked where he was coming from, he again answered, “I don’t know.” Finally, when asked who he was, he responded, “I don’t know.” This exchange highlights the frantic pace of modern life, where every moment is filled with speed but lacks a clear destination.

He said that the growing expectations in people’s hearts are increasing daily, with material aspirations taking flight. In this age of information, where resources are readily available at our fingertips, Muni Shri questioned where the essence of humanity has gone. He emphasized the importance of “Bhavnayog,” stating that life has become chaotic.

This information was shared by speaker Avinash Jain from Vidyavani. Muni Shri is offering Mangal Deshan daily from 8:30 to 9:30 AM, aimed at improving life. Additionally, from August 15th to August 22nd, a series of discourses on Samayik topics will be available for both Jains and non-Jains to benefit from.
