Admission in various academies being run by Madhya Pradesh Department of Sports and Youth Welfare is in process these days. Under this process, the registrations for admission of boarding players in Badminton and Female Hockey Academy, Gwalior; Archery Academy Jabalpur, Swimming Academy, Hoshangabad was held at Martial Arts hall, TT Nagar Stadium on Monday.
Total 116 players were called for the admission in the academes, of whom, 95 players were registered on the day including 56 boys and 39 girls. During the process, the certificates of all the players were examined and the health test was conducted. The players deposited Rs 8,000 as a security amount. While the players belonging to BPL families were given 50 per cent rebate in the security deposit. This security deposit will be returned after the players leave the academy.
The admission process for deboarding players in various academies being run in Bhopal, Gwalior, Jabalpur and Hoshangabad will be taken place on July 10 from 10 am. Under this, de-boarding players for all academies of Bhopal are called at TT Nagar Stadium. While the de-boarding players of the Archery Academy run in Jabalpur are called at Ranital sports Complex and the deboarding players of Swimming Academy in Hoshangabad will be present at the academy for the admissions.
The admission process for the players who failed to attend the process due to inevitable reason will be held at TT Nagar Stadium on July 11. Director of Sports and Youth Welfare Dr SL Thaosen reviewed the process and the arrangements done for admission of players at Martial Art Hall where he gathered information from the players and their parents about the arrangements. Players and guardians appreciated the arrangements done for testing of certificates for admission.
