- Tourism MD Dr. Ilaiyaraaja T. hosts New Year celebration at MPTDC
Bhopal: Emphasizing that a robust organization begins with a healthy workforce, Dr. Ilaiyaraaja T., Managing Director of the Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation (MPSTDC), celebrated the New Year with a special “Milan Samaroh” at Paryatan Bhawan on Friday. Organized by the Corporation’s Drivers’ Association, the event focused on the well-being of the frontline staff who drive the state’s tourism success.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Ilaiyaraaja described employees as the “invaluable property” of the corporation. To prioritize their welfare, he issued immediate directives to senior officials to organize comprehensive health check-ups and wellness programs for all personnel. “Just as we set personal resolutions, let us resolve as a tourism family to reach new heights through dedication and hard work,” he stated.
The ceremony, marked by the traditional cutting of a cake to welcome 2026, also served as a moment of gratitude. Members of the Drivers’ Association thanked the MD for the worker-centric decisions implemented in 2025, noting that such initiatives have significantly boosted morale. With a renewed focus on employee health and infrastructure goals, MPSTDC enters the new year committed to setting global benchmarks in hospitality.
