EAM Jaishankar discusses deepening trade and investments with US Chamber chief

New Delhi, Mar 26 (UNI) The President and CEO of the US Chamber of Commerce Suzanne Clark met with External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar here today, during which they discussed deepening partnership in trade and investments.

EAM Jaishankar said in a post on X:

“Glad to meet President & CEO @USChamber @SuzanneUSCC today.

“A useful exchange on deepening trade and investments, building resilient supply chains and strengthening the India-US strategic partnership.”

The meeting comes as India and the US are holding key negotiations on a bilateral trade agreement and lowering tariffs. Assistant US Trade Representative for South and Central Asia Brendan Lynch is in India along with a team of US government officials for the talks.

On Tuesday, Clark addressed the US-India Business Council 50th Anniversary Special Summit in Mumbai.
