New Delhi, July 31 (UNI) External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Wednesday called on visiting Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh ahead of tomorrow’s summit meeting between PM Chinh and PM Narendra Modi.
In a post on X, the EAM said he appreciated the Vietnamese PM’s guidance on the bilateral relationship and on regional and global issues of mutual interest.
“Honoured to call on PM Pham Minh Chinh of Vietnam during his State visit to India.
“Appreciate his guidance on our bilateral relationship and on regional and global issues of mutual interest.
“Look forward to his Summit meeting with PM @narendramodi tomorrow.”
The Vietnamese PM is on a three-day state visit to India.
On Thursday, PM Chinh will be accorded a ceremonial welcome at the forecourt of Rashtrapati Bhavan after which he will hold talks with PM Modi at Hyderabad House. The two sides are expected to sign some agreements.
