DRM inspects Guna-Rani Kamalapati Rail Section

Bhopal, Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of Bhopal Division, West Central Railway, Shri Devashish Tripathi, conducted an extensive inspection of the Guna-Rani Kamalapati rail section today, making stops at Guna, Ashoknagar, and Ganjbasoda railway stations. The DRM meticulously reviewed the progress of redevelopment works under the Amrit Station scheme, safety protocols, and passenger facilities. He assessed the advancement of projects and issued necessary directives to concerned officials. Shri Tripathi also undertook a window trailing inspection from Guna to Bina, closely examining the track structure, signaling systems, level crossings, and other critical safety infrastructure.

At Guna station, Shri Tripathi interacted with running staff and scrutinized safety equipment. He assessed the station yard, platform sheds, running room, crew lobby, circulating area, and ticket counters, reviewing ongoing development. He emphasized quality and timely completion of redevelopment works, particularly the interlocking system and signaling equipment.

In Ashoknagar, the DRM evaluated infrastructure and passenger amenities, including safety signals, track condition, station yard, signaling, and the station building. He directed improvements to waiting rooms, drinking water supply, lighting, and sanitation facilities.

At Ganjbasoda, he reviewed the progress of Amrit Station scheme works, including the station premises, platform expansion, passenger information systems, sheds, lighting, and the ticket house. Senior railway officials accompanied the DRM during the inspection.
