Bhopal: A tragic accident occurred on Thursday night in the Sukhi Sewania area, where a truck overturned while climbing the Balampur valley. The road had become slippery due to rain, causing the driver to lose control. The driver, Brijesh Singh Adivasi (32), a resident of Udaypura in Raisen district, died on the spot.
According to police reports, Brijesh was transporting goods from Vidisha to Bhopal when the accident took place. As the truck began ascending the Balampur valley, the vehicle slipped on the wet road and overturned. Brijesh was critically injured after being crushed by the overturned truck.
He was rushed to Hamidia Hospital by police, but doctors declared him brought dead. The body was handed over to the family after postmortem on Friday. A case has been registered, and police have initiated an investigation into the incident.
