New Delhi, July 8 (UNI) Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge today accused the NDA government in Bihar, of reducing the state to a “crime capital” and pushing it into a deep crisis of law and order, economic justice, and governance.
In a post on X, Kharge said, “In the past six months alone, 8 businessmen have been murdered in Bihar, and the police have come under attack at least five times. Just yesterday, a horrifying incident occurred where five members of a single family were brutally killed due to superstition and even innocent children were not spared.”
He termed the JD(U)-BJP partnership as a “fraudulent alliance” and held it responsible for the deteriorating law and order situation in the state.
Kharge claimed the Modi government’s own data, shows that poverty levels in Bihar remain alarmingly high. “Social and economic justice has gone from bad to worse, and due to the collapsed administrative system, investment in Bihar is only visible on paper “.
Asserting that the people of Bihar have had enough, Kharge said, “This time, Bihar has decided that it will no longer remain sick. Change is certain in Bihar, and the INDI Alliance will bring that change.”
