Chandigarh, Sep 24 (UNI) Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Tuesday asked the newly inducted Cabinet Ministers to discharge their duty with utmost dedication, sincerity, honesty and commitment so that benefits of pro-people schemes percolate to those at the ground level.
Interacting with the Cabinet Ministers, who called on the Chief Minister at his official residence, Mann said people of the state have bestowed a huge responsibility on everyone by giving a whopping mandate to them. He said it is the bounden duty of every Minister to work hard for the well being of the people and progress of the state.
The Chief Minister said it is the need of hour to restore Punjab’s pristine glory and make it a frontrunner state in the country.
Mann said fresh young blood has been infused in the state Cabinet to take the state to the zenith of its glory. He called upon the Ministers to serve the public with a missionary zeal so as to ensure issues of immense public importance are resolved at the earliest.
Congratulating the new Ministers, Mann envisioned that they will also act as a catalyst to implement the policies and programmes of the state government in the right earnest.
