- Dedicates CNC router machine
Bhopal, Smt. Bani Verma, Director (IS&P), visited the Transformer Block at BHEL Bhopal on Tuesday and conducted a detailed review of ongoing activities. She emphasized timely project execution, adherence to quality standards, and efficiency in production processes. P.K. Upadhyay, General Manager & Head, BHEL Bhopal, accompanied her during the visit.
A key highlight was the dedication of the newly installed CNC Router Machine, part of the Pressboard Insulation Processing Facility, to the nation. This facility will enhance insulation processing capabilities, boosting both precision and productivity.
Smt. Verma also reviewed the progress of CAPEX projects in the Transformer Division and inspected transformers under construction in Block-3 and NTB. Additionally, she evaluated operations in the Capacitor Department, underscoring BHEL’s commitment to continuous improvement.
The event was attended by senior officials including V.K. Bassi, ED-ROD; Rakesh Singh, ED-TBG; Rupesh Telang, GM; S.K. Mahajan; G.P. Baghel; other General Managers; officers from the TCB Department; workmen; and union representatives.
On this occasion, Smt. Verma also flagged off the 10th 500 MVA, 765 kV transformer manufactured in FY 2025–26 for Powergrid, Navsari, marking another achievement in BHEL Bhopal’s journey of engineering excellence.
