Pachmarhi: The ongoing “Sangathan Srijan” training camp in Pachmarhi commenced today’s session with a ceremonial flag-tying and collective physical exercise, symbolising organisational discipline and unity among the participating district Congress presidents.
The first session was addressed by former Chief Minister and Rajya Sabha member Digvijaya Singh, who spoke on the theme “Current Political Challenges, Communal Organisations and Congress Mission 2028”. He emphasised the need for ideological clarity within the cadre and urged participants to remain steadfast in defending democratic values during a politically polarised period.
Following this, War Room in-charge Shashikant Senthil discussed strategies for expanding the organisational structure at the panchayat level. He highlighted the importance of both movement-based and constructive approaches in strengthening the party’s presence across rural and semi-urban regions.
In the subsequent session, Rajya Sabha MP and Treasurer of the Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee, Ashok Singh, spoke on organisational growth and public engagement. He stressed that the party’s strength lies in its grassroots workers. “The organisation becomes truly powerful when every worker directly engages with the people, understands their concerns, and remains committed to seeking solutions,” he remarked.
The session was attended by National Training in-charge Sachin Rao, State in-charge Harish Chaudhary, Co-in-charge Sanjay Dutt, Co-in-charge Ranvijay Singh Lochan, State Training in-charge Mahendra Joshi, State Organisation Vice President Sukhdev Panse, and Voter List Co-in-charges Irfan Khan and Promil Mitra.
The day concluded with a group discussion and planning for upcoming programmes as part of the ongoing camp.
