Health teams on alert

To contain the spread of the disease, 50 survey teams were deployed on Saturday across the affected locality. These teams distributed health cards and awareness materials, advised residents to boil drinking water and consume properly cooked food, and demonstrated correct handwashing practices. Discussions were also held on the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle to prevent illness.

Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Madhav Prasad Hasani informed that a health promotion campaign has been underway since January 10. Community health workers, nursing officers, and doctors are providing continuous medical consultations through surveys, health camps, and OPD services. Two ambulances have been stationed in the area round the clock, and water supply is expected to be restored to 30 percent of the locality today.
