Bhopal: A 68-year-old man found unconscious at his residence in the Ashoka Garden police station area of Bhopal was provided timely medical assistance following swift and sensitive action by the Dial-112 emergency response team.
According to police officials, the State-level Dial-112 control room in Bhopal received information on March 15 that an elderly man in Subhash Colony had fallen unconscious and required urgent police assistance. Acting promptly on the alert, a Dial-112 First Response Vehicle stationed in the Ashoka Garden area was immediately dispatched to the location.
On reaching the spot, Head Constables Puneet Shukla and Rajveer Singh, along with pilot Pushpendra Singh, discovered that the elderly man lived alone and had collapsed inside his house. As the door was locked from inside, the team, with the help of local residents, opened it and brought him out safely.
The responders quickly shifted him to a private hospital in the FRV vehicle, ensuring he received timely treatment. Police said the incident highlights the commitment of the Dial-112 service to assisting citizens, particularly senior residents, during emergencies.
