India’s Railways calls for creative minds Bhopal Division, in its ongoing commitment to showcase innovation, highlights an exciting national competition by the Railway Board. Citizens, students, and professionals are invited to envision the future of timekeeping for Indian Railways by designing a standardized digital clock to grace railway stations nationwide.
This first-of-its-kind national contest presents a unique platform for public engagement. From imaginative schoolchildren to seasoned designers, participants have until May 31st, 2025, to submit their designs online. The grand prize for the most compelling design, chosen across all categories, is a substantial Rs 5 lakh. Furthermore, fifteen consolation prizes of Rs 50,000 each will be awarded, five in each of the student (up to 12th grade), college/university, and professional categories.
Submissions are entirely digital. Entrants are required to email their high-resolution, watermark-free designs to contest.pr@rb.railnet.gov.in, accompanied by a detailed concept note explaining their vision and a certificate affirming the design’s originality.
Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Shri Saurabh Kataria emphasizes this initiative as a testament to Indian Railways’ forward-thinking approach to time management and its dedication to involving the public in shaping its infrastructure.
