Rewa: Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla underscored the enduring value of historical consciousness, stating that “only with knowledge of history can we execute our roles effectively in difficult circumstances.”
Shukla was addressing a gathering at the Bharat Milap program at Padmadhar Park in Rewa, a ceremony celebrating the reunion of Lord Ram with his brother Bharat. He highlighted the current national environment focused on strengthening the country through the “re-establishment of Sanatan Dharma.”
The Deputy CM credited the construction of the magnificent Ram Mandir in Ayodhya to the “glorious leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi” and paid tribute to the sacrifice of the Kothari brothers, whose martyrdom paved the way for the temple.
Shukla praised the local Dussehra Utsav Committee for meticulously upholding the ancient tradition of the event, which included a moving stage performance depicting the Ayodhya temple’s construction. The Deputy CM performed Pujan (worship) of the artists personifying Lord Ram and his brothers, reinforcing the cultural and spiritual significance of such heritage events for fostering unity and national pride.
