New Delhi, Jan 13 (UNI) In a 48-hour operation targeting gangsters and organised criminals, the Delhi Police apprehended hundreds of criminals linked to multiple crime networks across the national capital.
The two-day “Operation Gang Bust” was carried out across various districts of Delhi, aimed at dismantling active criminal networks and gangs involved in multiple illegal activities, as well as curbing incidents that endangered the public due to the presence of such gangs.
Teams from different units of the law enforcement agency of the national capital conducted searches and raids as well as closely monitored by the senior officials.
During the operation, several proclaimed offenders and wanted criminals were apprehended, and their hideouts were raided. The exercise not only led to arrests of criminals but also uncovered important information about the linkages between criminals and their networks.
Special units of the Delhi Police were also involved to ensure a significant impact on organised crime syndicates.
The operation also made it very clear that the Delhi Police maintains zero tolerance against crimes, emphasizing on crimes against women, children and various other serious offences, also including narcotics and others.
