New Delhi Sept 23 (UNI) The Delhi Police has initiated a special nine days safety campaign this Navratri.
The program introduces “Shakti Surakshini,” a new mascot designed to symbolise safety and unity. The initiative also highlights the contributions of women personnel in the force, recognising their efforts in ensuring public security.
Under the slogan “Jagruk Bane Har Citizen,” the campaign encourages the public to remain alert in crowded areas and report any suspicious activities immediately via the 112 helpline.
Special women’s helpline numbers have been reinforced as part of the safety measures for the festive period. The drive aims to merge the festive spirit with a shared commitment to community safety.
