Delhi CM’s residence gets more CCTV cameras and CRPF deployment

New Delhi, Aug 21 (UNI) A day after Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta was attacked at her official residence in the Civil Lines area, more CCTV Cameras have been installed in the CM House.

CCTV cameras have been installed at the gates of Bungalows No. 2 and 3, the official residence of Delhi’s Chief Minister to monitor all activities happening around the CM’s residence.

Additionally, CRPF personnel have been deployed inside the CM’s residence.

“The security arrangements have been tightened following the attack during the public hearing. While CCTV cameras were already installed at the gates of the CM’s residence before, their number has now been increased. On one hand, CRPF will be involved in the CM’s security along with the Delhi Police. Meanwhile, security outside the CM’s residence has also been enhanced,” said a senior police official wishing anonymity.

Rajeshbhai who attacked the Delhi CM is currently in five days of custodial remand. Delhi police are trying to ascertain the true notice behind the attack.
