Delhi CM promises state-of-the-art auditorium for Shyam Lal College

New Delhi, June 9 (UNI) Noting the absence of a proper auditorium for students amidst the sweltering heat at Shyam Lal College in Northeast Delhi, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Monday announced plans to develop a state-of-the-art facility on campus as a student welfare initiative.

Participating in the 61st annual day and prize distribution function of the college, Gupta reflected on her connection with the institution from her student days, and emphasised the importance of improving infrastructure for future generations.

The proposed model auditorium will serve the academic and educational needs of students from North East Delhi, she added, according to a statement from Shyam Lal College.

MP Manoj Kumar Tiwari, who was also present at the event, pledged his support for the proposed modern, air-conditioned auditorium with a seating capacity of 800.
