Delhi CM, BJP leaders laud Saxena’s tenure as Delhi LG, wish him success

New Delhi, March 6 (UNI) Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta along with several BJP leaders praised the tenure of outgoing Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena and extended their best wishes as he takes charge as the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh.

In a post on social media platform X, Gupta said Saxena’s tenure as Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor was dedicated to the development of the national Capital and public welfare.

She noted that despite various challenges during his tenure, he discharged his duties with patience, restraint and constitutional dignity.

Gupta said Saxena’s commitment to transparency and public welfare in Delhi would always be remembered.

She congratulated him on his new and important responsibility as the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh and wished him a successful tenure.

Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva also praised Saxena’s leadership, saying few leaders carry the weight of responsibility the way he has.

Sachdeva said Saxena’s calm resolve, constitutional integrity and focus on the people of Delhi set an example, especially during difficult times.

He expressed personal gratitude, stating that Saxena’s guidance and mentorship had been a source of strength in his own journey.

Sachdeva wished him success as he begins a new chapter as Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh.

Meanwhile, BJP leader and MP Parvesh Verma in a long post on X writes Saxena’s tenure as Delhi LG was devoted to development, good governance and public welfare.

He added that Saxena performed his responsibilities with patience and constitutional discipline despite various challenges.

Verma recalled that during his tenure as a Member of Parliament, Saxena had extended support whenever help was sought for development works in West Delhi and rural areas of the Capital.

He said these efforts laid a strong foundation for development and helped improve the condition of rural areas in Delhi.

Congratulating Saxena on his new responsibility, Verma expressed confidence that his leadership and experience would help Ladakh achieve new milestones in development and governance.
