Delhi Assembly election: Manish Sisodia files nomination from Jangpura seat

New Delhi, Jan 16 (UNI) As the Delhi Legislative Assembly election draw nearer, Senior AAP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia filed his nomination from the Jangpura Assembly constituency on Thursday.

Addressing the media, Sisodia expressed confidence in the people, highlighting that improved education and healthcare would shape the country’s future.

He also emphasized that his nomination marks another step forward in AAP’s mission to uphold the values of transparency and good governance, spearheaded by party National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal.

“As an AAP candidate and a committed soldier of Arvind Kejriwal, I have submitted my nomination for the Jangpura Assembly seat. I am confident that the people of Jangpura will extend the same affection and respect they have shown to AAP over the years,” he said.

“If elected, I will stand with the people of Jangpura through their joys and challenges, focusing on shaping their future through improved education and healthcare. I am honoured to represent the people of Jangpura as their candidate,” Sisodia added.

“With a firm commitment to serve the people with honesty and dedication, I have filed my nomination from Jangpura. This is yet another step towards realizing Arvind Kejriwal’s vision of honest politics,” he tweeted.

Ahead of filing his nomination, Manish Sisodia visited the Kalkaji Temple to seek blessings.

It may be mentioned the last date for filing of nominations is 17th January. Voting for the 70-member Delhi assembly will take place on February 5 and counting on February 8.
