Cyber Police order probe in nursing scam

By Special Correspondent

Bhopal: The issue of alleged fake hospitals and illegal nursing colleges operating in the state capital has resurfaced, prompting the Madhya Pradesh State Cyber Police Headquarters to initiate action. Acting on a written complaint submitted by NSUI state vice-president Ravi Parmar, the cyber police have taken cognisance of allegations of forged physical verification reports prepared by officials of the CMHO office, Bhopal.

The Cyber Police Headquarters has directed the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime), Bhopal, to conduct a detailed investigation and take appropriate legal action. The complaint relates to the alleged illegal functioning of the NRI Institute of Nursing, Bhopal, and its associated Arnav Hospital. Parmar stated that despite clear instructions from the Madhya Pradesh Nurses Registration Council to conduct a proper inspection, officials allegedly submitted fabricated reports without conducting on-site verification.

NSUI district president Akshay Tomar alleged that although show-cause notices were issued to the concerned doctors on December 12, 2025, no concrete action has followed, indicating official patronage.
