Crime against women on the rise in Gujarat, alleges Cong

New Delhi, Sep 25 (UNI) Congress on Wednesday alleged that women are not safe in Gujarat and incidents of sexual exploitation and rape are coming to light every day, which clearly shows that the law and order has collapsed in the state.

Addressing a press conference at the AICC headquarters here Gujarat PCC president Shaktisinh Gohil said, “Despite rise in crime against women in Gujarat, neither the state government nor Prime Minister Narendra Modi is saying a single word.”

“Two days ago, a school principal in Dahod, raped his six-year-old student inside his car and when the victim started screaming she was strangled to death,” He said.

He alleged that the Principal who committed this heinous crime was propagating the ideology of RSS-BJP and had campaigned for BJP during elections.

He further said that the BJP Yuva Morcha General Secretary was in jail after he was found guilty for raping a minor. Adding that in Vadodara too a BJP leader had rapped a married woman and later threatening to kill her.

He said that law and order in Gujarat has collapsed, and criminals and miscreants were becoming members of the BJP.

The Gujarat PCC chief also made a shocking allegation that in the state, school teachers have been given the target to make people members of the BJP.

“Children are being asked for their mobile numbers and OTP. Not only this, even OTP is ashed from patients who go for treatment in government hospital.
