- Governor confers degrees, gold medals in the ceremony
Bhopal: Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel urged students to help address the complex challenges faced by farmers by integrating traditional knowledge with modern science and technical skills. He also encouraged efforts to make advanced agricultural technology accessible to underserved and remote areas. Governor Shri Patel was adressing the tenth convocation of Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Agricultural University in Gwalior on Tuesday. He extended his congratulations and best wishes to the graduating students, their teachers, and parents.
The convocation was held in the Dattopant Thengadi Auditorium of the Agricultural University under the special hospitality of Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University Pusa Samastipur Bihar Chancellor Prof. PL Gautam and National Organization Secretary of Bharatiya Kisan Sangh Shri Dinesh Kulkarni. On this occasion, Vice Chancellor of Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Agricultural University Prof. Arvind Kumar Shukla, members of the University Working Council and Acharya were present on the stage.
Gold Medal Awardees
Gold medals were awarded to 04 agriculture graduate students in the convocation ceremony. These include Ku. Sakshi of Agriculture College, Gwalior, Ku. Shruti Tomar of Agriculture College, Sehore, Amit Birgodia and Ku. Garga Tripathi of Horticulture College, Mandsaur. Gold medals were given to Ku. Shrejal Tiwari of Mandsaur and Nimisha Maheshwari of Sehore in Agriculture Post Graduate and Dheeraj Singh, Gwalior in Ph. D.
Sartaj Bahadur Sinha Memorial Awardees
Himanshu Nagar, Vishal Gupta, Ramswaroop Lamror and Ku. Nimisha Maheshwari were given Sartaj Bahadur Sinha Memorial Award.
