Bhopal: The District Congress Committee, Bhopal City, on Saturday marked the death anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr B.R. Ambedkar with solemn tributes at multiple locations, including Lily Talkies Square in Jehangirabad, the Baba Saheb statue site at Board Office Square, and the Madhya Pradesh Congress Office. Party leaders and workers offered floral tributes and reflected on Ambedkar’s enduring legacy.
The tribute events witnessed the presence of several senior Congress leaders, including former minister P.P. Sharma, State SC Department president Pradeep Ahirwar, councillor Guddu Chauhan, Abhishek Sharma, Neeraj Chandale, Sunil Borse, along with many other leaders and party workers.
Speaking on the occasion, leaders recalled that Dr Ambedkar’s ideals continue to inspire society to uphold equality, justice and social harmony. They emphasised the relevance of his teachings in guiding India towards a more inclusive and equitable future.
