Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee on Sunday observed the death anniversary of the late Salim Khan, former Vice-Chairman of the Bhopal Development Authority, at the Pradesh Congress office. Party leaders and workers offered floral tributes at his portrait and remembered his lifelong commitment to public service and the Congress ideology.
Salim Khan was widely respected for his simplicity, honesty and dedication to social welfare, values that continue to inspire the Congress cadre. Speaking on the occasion, leaders highlighted his contribution to society and his tireless efforts for the people of Bhopal.
The event was attended by former minister PC Sharma, District Congress President Praveen Saxena, State Spokesperson Shaheryar Khan, Khan’s younger brother Mohammad Zaheer, along with several party members and supporters. The gathering reflected the party’s collective respect and gratitude for the departed leader’s enduring legacy.
