Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh Congress on Tuesday organised a tribute programme at the Pradesh Congress Office, Bhopal, to mark the 100th birth anniversary of veteran leader and former Speaker of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly, Dada Srinivas Tiwari, fondly remembered as the “Father of the Assembly.”
Party members garlanded his portrait and recalled his long, struggle-filled political journey. The event was attended by Bhopal District Congress Committee President Praveen Saxena, senior leader Anand Taran, state spokesperson Abhinav Barolia, along with Mithun Ahirwar, Asif Mirza, Sushil Prajapati, Ritik Tiwari and a large gathering of Congress workers.
Leaders highlighted Tiwari’s immense contribution to strengthening democratic values and enhancing the dignity of the Madhya Pradesh Assembly. They described his transparent working style, organisational commitment and unwavering struggle as a guiding light for future generations.
On this occasion, Congress members resolved to carry forward his ideals and principles, pledging to further strengthen the organisation and continue voicing the concerns of the people with determination.
The tribute gathering concluded with a collective remembrance of Dada Srinivas Tiwari’s legacy as a statesman who upheld democratic traditions and left behind a lasting example of dedicated public service.
