Bhopal/Rewa: A significant meeting of Congress leaders and workers from Singrauli district was held in Rewa on Sunday, bringing together representatives from the Singrauli, Deosar and Chitrangi Assembly constituencies. The meeting focused on strengthening the party organisation, planning upcoming programmes and enhancing Congress’s grassroots presence across the region.
Detailed discussions were held on improving coordination at the booth and block levels, mobilising workers, and ensuring active public outreach in the run-up to future political engagements. Emphasis was laid on reinforcing organisational discipline and sustained engagement with local issues.
The meeting was attended by former Leader of the Opposition and Churhat MLA Ajay Singh ‘Rahul Bhaiya’, AICC co-incharge Ranvijay Lochav, former minister Sukhdev Panse, Singrauli district Congress president (urban) Praveen Singh Chauhan, district Congress president (rural) Saraswati Singh Markam, and Pradesh Congress general secretary Kavita Pandey, along with several senior leaders and party workers.
Leaders stressed unity, organisational preparedness and sustained grassroots activism to strengthen the Congress in Singrauli district.
