Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh Congress has commenced a three-day series of meetings with district presidents at the state party headquarters in Bhopal, aimed at strengthening the organisation and enhancing coordination across divisions.

The inaugural session on Saturday brought together district presidents from Bhopal and Narmadapuram divisions. The meeting was chaired by party in-charge Harish Chaudhary and marked the first occasion when all newly elected district presidents were assembled on a single platform.

Congress co-in-charge Sanjay Dutt, organisational in-charge Dr Sanjay Kamle, Rajgarh district president Priyavrat Singh, Bhopal district president Praveen Saxena, Anokhilal Patel and several other district presidents from the division were present.

The discussions focused on the Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan (Organisation Creation Campaign), which aims to reinforce grassroots structures and ensure greater alignment among leaders and workers. District presidents were briefed on the campaign’s objectives, activities, and training process, while practical guidance was offered to enhance local-level operations.

Dr Sanjay Kamle described the initiative as “a historic step that connects all district presidents with a unified organisational vision. This campaign will play a crucial role in strengthening Congress at the grassroots level.”

The meeting further resolved that individual one-to-one discussions would be conducted in the coming weeks to examine district-specific challenges and streamline management.

Over the next two days, meetings will continue with district presidents from other divisions, with two regions convening each day. The sessions are expected to outline strategies for building a more effective organisation, ensuring the party’s preparedness for upcoming political challenges in Madhya Pradesh.

The gathering was viewed as an important step in energising the Congress cadre and fostering a collective approach towards future campaigns.
