New Delhi/Hyderabad, March 5 (UNI) The All India Congress Committee (AICC) on Thursday announced the party’s candidates for the Rajya Sabha biennial elections-2026 from five states.
According to a press release issued by AICC general secretary KC Venugopal, the list of candidates was approved by Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge.
As per the announcement, Phulo Devi Netam has been nominated from Chhattisgarh, while Karamvir Singh Boudh will contest from Haryana. From Himachal Pradesh, the party has fielded Anurag Sharma, who is currently serving as the District Congress Committee (DCC) president of Kangra.
From Tamil Nadu, M Christopher Tilak has been selected as the party candidate.
For Telangana, the Congress has nominated senior advocate and party leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi, along with Vem Narender Reddy, for the Rajya Sabha elections.
