Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee president Jeetu Patwari on Friday attended block-level Panchayat Committee workers’ conferences organised in various blocks of Sanwer and Rau Assembly constituencies in Indore district. During the meetings, he interacted with party workers and discussed strengthening the Congress organisation at the booth level, outlining future programmes and raising several public interest issues.
The conferences were held in Paliya, Sanwer, Kshipra and Khudel blocks of the Sanwer Assembly constituency, as well as in the Ralamandal block of the Rau Assembly constituency. A large number of Congress workers and office-bearers participated in the events.
Addressing the gatherings, Patwari said the party organisation would be strengthened in every locality and ward, and Congress committees would be formed across all areas. He expressed confidence that with a strong organisation and the support of the people, the Congress would form the government in Madhya Pradesh in 2028.
On the occasion, State Mahila Congress president Reena Borasi, Indore District Congress (Rural) president Vipin Wankhede, former district president Sadashiv Yadav and Kisan Congress district president Jeetu Thakur were also present along with several senior leaders and party workers.
Patwari also raised concerns over the problem caused by burning garbage in Mangiya village of Sanwer Assembly constituency. He warned the administration to resolve the issue within 30 days, failing which he would launch a protest along with local residents.
He alleged that pollution was increasing under the BJP government and said Congress would continue to raise issues related to public health and people’s welfare.
