Cong does not align with Hindutva values: VD Sharma

Bhopal, The State BJP President, V.D. Sharma, criticized the Congress party, alleging that it does not align with Hindutva values. He claimed that the Congress opposes the Ram Mandir, Hindutva, and Sanatan beliefs. Sharma strongly denounced the President of the Congress Media Department for suggesting that the Babri Masjid’s demolition constituted martyrdom. He argued that this statement, made under Sonia Gandhi’s influence, demonstrates the Congress’s fondness for Mughals and animosity towards Sanatan values. Sharma called on Priyanka Gandhi, the State leader of Congress, to issue a public apology to the Hindu community.

Speaking at a press conference at the State Media Centre in the State capital on Saturday, Sharma asserted that the true nature of the Congress party had been revealed even before the Assembly elections. He recalled that the Congress government had once advocated building the Babri Masjid at the Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya, with anti-Sanatan leader Kamal Nath playing a significant role in that decision. Sharma attributed Kamal Nath’s newfound support for the Ram temple to the influence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the triumph of Hindutva ideology.

Sharma pointed out that while the Congress claims that Lord Ram belongs to the entire nation, they should back their words by displaying banners of Lord Ram. He suggested that if the Congress’s love for Ram is insincere and their preference is for Babar, they should proudly display Babar’s banners. Additionally, Sharma noted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Mann Ki Baat” program would be broadcast at all State booths on Sunday, with over 41 lakh workers at 63,523 booths participating. The program would feature senior and distinguished individuals, and BJP workers would be responsible for delivering the Prime Minister’s message to every household. Sharma emphasized that PM Modi holds a special place in the hearts of nine and a half crore people in Madhya Pradesh.
