CM to inaugurate ‘School Chalen Hum’ campaign today

State-Level Praveshotsav to be Organized

Bhopal: CM Dr. Mohan Yadav will inaugurate the ‘School Chalein Hum’ Campaign 2025 on April 1 (Tuesday) at 9 AM at Government Navin Higher Secondary School, Arera Colony (Old Campion), Bhopal. A state-level Praveshotsav will also be held on this occasion. The event will be attended by Dr. Kunwar Vijay Shah, Minister of Tribal Affairs, Public Asset Management, and Bhopal Gas Tragedy Relief & Rehabilitation; Shri Uday Pratap Singh, Minister of School Education & Transport; and Shri Chaitanya Kumar Kashyap, Minister of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises. The event will be broadcast live on digital platforms.

Welcoming New Students

CM Dr. Yadav will personally welcome newly admitted students at the event. Additionally, talented students who have excelled in various national-level sports will be honored. He will also launch Education Portal 3.0, which will streamline and digitize school education processes.

Madhya Pradesh has around 92,000 government schools, including primary, middle, high, and higher secondary schools, with approximately 8.5 million students enrolled.

Education Portal 3.0

With the new academic session beginning on April 1, the Education Portal 3.0 will be used to facilitate student admissions in both government and private schools under the Student Directory Management System. This portal will provide easy access to all information related to the School Education Department.

District-Level Praveshotsavs

On April 1, District In-Charge Ministers will participate in Praveshotsavs at selected schools across the state. Members of Parliament, MLAs, and other public representatives will also attend. Students will receive free textbooks at the beginning of the session.
