CM Sugam Parivahan Seva will be started

  • CM announces at high-level meeting

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the rural, urban and intercity transport system of the state will be improved. For this, Chief Minister Sugam Parivahan Seva will be started. The proposal of the scheme has been prepared. After detailed discussions, suggestions and consent with everyone, this scheme proposal will soon be brought to the cabinet meeting for approval.

CM Dr. Yadav was addressing a high-level meeting organized for preliminary discussion regarding the new transport service at Samatva Bhawan located at the Chief Minister’s residence on Monday. During this, CM said that transport services in the state will be further improved. The government will make every effort for smooth passenger transport in rural areas, especially in all tribal areas of the state.

Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Prahlad Patel, Urban Development and Administration Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya, Chief Secretary Anurag Jain participated virtually in the meeting. Top officials including School Education and Transport Minister Shri Uday Pratap Singh were present in the meeting held at Samatva.

CM said that keeping in mind the future needs of the state related to passenger transport, study all aspects of this new scheme in depth, so that passengers can get maximum benefit from it.

=State level holding company will be formed

Secretary Transport Manish Singh gave detailed information about the new transport service scheme. He informed that in the new transport scheme, three-tier monitoring of passenger bus operations in the state will be done. For this, a state-level holding company will be formed at the state headquarters level.

7 regional subsidiary companies will also be formed in seven major divisions of the state, Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Ujjain, Sagar and Rewa. For this purpose, district level passenger transport committees will also be formed in all the districts of the state. All these bodies will monitor and guide to improve passenger transport, fix passenger fares, coordinate in preparing route charts and provide maximum benefit of the scheme to the passengers.

=There will also be a dashboard for monitoring the company

It was told that special arrangements will also be made in this scheme to create sources of income for seven regional subsidiary companies. In the new scheme, the government will give permits on priority to contracted buses. The government will have effective control over these buses. In the new scheme, there will also be an app for passengers and bus operators and a dashboard for monitoring the company.

For the operation of the new transport service, surveys are being conducted for the requirement and required number of passenger buses in seven major divisions of the state. The results of the survey will be received soon. Based on the feedback of the survey, the government will move forward towards the implementation of this scheme.

It was told that the passengers will benefit the most from the new transport scheme. Provision has also been made in this new transport service scheme to provide better environment to the bus operators and to give them continuous business, so that the bus services of the operators are not disrupted and the passengers also do not face any problem.
