Bhopal, Along with development and public welfare of the state, it is the responsibility of the government to promote religion and culture. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said this in the bhoomi pujan programme organized at Pataleshwar Mahadev Temple located in village Saatdev of Bhairunda district. He performed the bhoomi pujan of the construction and development works of 17 temples costing Rs 19 crore 65 lakh in Budhni assembly including Pataleshwar Mahadev temple of Saatdev.
CM Chouhan said that economic activities have increased with the construction of Mahakal Lok in Ujjain. He said that the construction work of a grand Devi Lok is going on in Salkanpur. Along with this, several other Lok are being constructed at many places including Hanuman Lok in Jam Sanwali, Rajaram Lok in Orchha, Vanvasi Ram Lok in Chitrakoot, Narmada Lok in Amarkantak, Adi Shankaracharya Lok in Khandwa, so that the coming generations can understand their religion and learn about the culture and carry it forward.
Performed Bhoomi Pujan of 17 temples
CM Chouhan performed Bhoomi Pujan of various construction and development works worth Rs 19 crore 65 lakh. Out of this, development work of Shiv temple complex, parking facility, boundary wall and development of public facilities in village Satdev will be done at a cost of Rs 8 crore 75 lakh, work of community public facility near Ram Janaki Temple Jait at a cost of Rs 65 lakh, community facility work near Mandi temple at a cost of Rs 50 lakh, community facility work near village Dimavar temple at a cost of Rs 50 lakh, community facility work near village Chhipaner temple at a cost of Rs 1 crore, works of Rs 50 lakh each in village Seelakantha Temple, village Ramgarha Temple, Gularpura Temple, village Borkheda Kalan Temple, village Auvlighat Shiv Temple, community public facility work near Hirani Ghat, community public facility near Village Ranagar Ghat.
