CM inaugurates Rahgiri Anand Utsav in Ujjain

  • Enjoyed horse ride and police band tune; recited bhajan

Bhopal: CM Dr. Mohan Yadav attended the Rahgiri Anand Utsav on Kothi Road during his stay in Ujjain on Sunday, he advised the citizens to do regular yoga and exercise. CM Dr. Yadav inaugurated the Rahgiri Anand Utsav by lighting the lamp and enjoyed the performances of the cultural troupes. On this occasion, the CM also recited the bhajan ‘Ganga Tera Pani Amrit, Maa Kshipra Tera Pani Amrit’ from the stage. MP Shri Anil Ferozia, MLA Shri Anil Jain Kaluheda, Mayor Shri Mukesh Tatwal, Municipal Corporation Chairperson Smt. Kalavati Yadav, Shri Vivek Joshi, Shri Bahadur Singh Bor Mundla were also present along with public representatives and citizens.

CM appealed to the public that along with children, the youth of the families should also come out in this Rahgiri and follow it daily. The citizens of Ujjain were thrilled to have the CM among them, everyone also got photographs clicked with the Chief Minister.

CM greeted the citizens present while riding a horse. On this occasion, representatives of various organisations felicitated the CM by putting a turban and garland on him.

CM also released the painting of Golden Madhya Pradesh during Rahgiri Anand Utsav. During this, he also inaugurated the jute bag distribution programme organised on the theme of plastic free Ujjain.

CM flags off marathon

CM flagged off marathon “Good for Health” from Mungi Chauraha Ujjain on Sunday morning. He said that we all should take a pledge that we must go for a walk early in the morning and do yoga, which increases happiness in life and there is no greater happiness than a healthy life. Healthy life is the greatest happiness.

On this occasion, CM congratulated and wished the people of Ujjain for the upcoming Makar Sankranti festival. MLA Shri Anil Jain Kaluheda, Chairperson Smt. Kalavati Devi, public representatives and a large number of citizens were present.
