CM inaugurates Mahakaushal Autonomous College

  • Development projects worth Rs 28.33 crore launched in Jabalpur

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated the new building of the Mahakaushal Autonomous Leading College during a ceremony in Jabalpur, highlighting the significance of education in the region. The event also marked the groundbreaking ceremony for the Government Mahakaushal College, PM College of Excellence, along with the launch of four major development projects totaling ?28.33 crore.

In his address, Dr. Yadav emphasized Jabalpur’s role as a cultural and judicial capital, describing it as the confluence of culture, values, and education. He praised the natural beauty of Mahakaushal, stating that the region is blessed by the Mother Narmada. The Chief Minister noted that the government had prioritized development in Jabalpur, citing the inauguration of the state’s largest elevated corridor, which aims to boost trade and business in the area.

Dr. Yadav stressed the importance of educational institutions in fostering a strong foundation for learning and teaching. He urged that schools and colleges should evolve into centers of knowledge rather than mere degree-awarding entities. The Chief Minister advocated for vocational-oriented education to equip students with essential skills for the employment sector, highlighting the rise of start-ups among the youth in the state as a positive trend contributing to societal and economic growth.

CM honored academic toppers and multi-talented persons

During the ceremony, Dr. Yadav honored 22 academic toppers and multi-talented individuals from local schools and colleges, encouraging them to view their achievements as both an honor and a responsibility. He expressed confidence in the potential of India’s youth, asserting that they hold the key to a developed and self-reliant India by 2047.

Additionally, Dr. Yadav announced the implementation of the Swami Vivekananda Youth Power Mission and the Learn-Earn scheme, aimed at providing practical industry experience to the youth while they study.
