CM flags off Deendayal Rasoi Kendras

Will provide full meal to needy for Rs 5

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today flagged off 10 mobile Deendayal Rasoi Kendras from Smart Park. These mobile centers will go to those places in Bhopal and three other cities and provide full meals to workers and other needy people for just five rupees where such people work. Mobile centres will also be operated in other cities of the state.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay considered the poor as God. He believed that if you served the deprived then it would be considered that you have worshipped God. Accepting this mantra of Pandit Deendayal Upadhayay, many schemes are being conducted in Madhya Pradesh to serve Daridra Narayan or the poor who is like God. One of these schemes is Deendayal Rasoi Yojana.

CM Chouhan said that there are two main objectives of launching this scheme. One is that poor people can get food at concessional rates, second is that migrant workers and other needy citizens can get the facility of a full meal near their workplace. With this system, such labourers who come from village to city to earn their living will be able to get fresh meal at their place of work without spending much money and time. The centres operated earlier were located at one place only. The mobile kitchen centres will provide food at the cost of only Rs 5. When laborers went to other places for food, their wages were spent on food. The workers used to spend their hard-earned money just for food. State government has made arrangements to give subsidy at the rate of Rs 10 per person under the scheme.
