Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav flagged off a new express train between Bhopal and Rewa on Friday.
Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Devda, MLAs Rameshwar Sharma, Bhagwan Das Sabnani, Vishnu Khatri, Bhopal Parliamentary constituency MP Alok Sharma, Hoshangabad Parliamentary constituency MP Darshan Singh, Bhopal Mayor Malti Rai were present in the program. At present, Rewanchal Express goes through Sagar Katni every day to go from the capital Bhopal to Rewa. The new express train will run two days a week via the Itarsi route. Chief Minister Dr Yadav said that all types of transport connectivity is being developed in the state. Expressing gratitude to the Prime Minister and the Railway Minister, Chief Minister Dr Yadav said that air facility is also available for Rewa. Connectivity has also been started through various means between other cities of the state for serious patients, tourists, devotees etc.
Chief Minister Yadav said that earlier, rail facilities were increased only in the area of ??the Railway Minister. This practice has changed in the last 10 years. Prime Minister Shri Modi had given the gift of a well-equipped railway station in the name of Rani Kamlapati to Bhopal. Now the development of Bhopal main station is also going on rapidly. During this, other public representatives also addressed the program.
