Bhopal, On the first day of the Global Investors Summit, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav had fruitful one-on-one discussions with several prominent industrialists. The meetings allowed the Chief Minister to engage directly with business leaders from various sectors, fostering a dialogue about investment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh.
Among those who met with CM Dr. Yadav was Acharya Balkrishna from the Patanjali Group, who discussed the potential for investment in the health and wellness sector. Their conversation centered around the opportunities for growth in a sector that has seen significant interest in recent years.
Italy’s Consul General, Mr. Walter Ferreira, was also present at the summit and had a meaningful conversation with the Chief Minister. The meeting aimed to explore avenues for strengthening ties and encouraging investment from Italy into Madhya Pradesh.
Mr. Rikant Pitti, CEO and Co-founder of eZeeTrip.com, also had an engaging discussion with Dr. Yadav about potential investments in the state’s tourism sector. Madhya Pradesh, with its rich cultural heritage and scenic beauty, offers numerous opportunities for growth in tourism, and Mr. Pitti showed keen interest in exploring these possibilities.
In addition, senior representatives from major power and energy companies, including Mr. Jigish Mehta and Mr. Omprakash Nenwal from Torrent Power, expressed their intent to invest in Madhya Pradesh’s growing energy sector. Their meeting with CM Dr. Yadav focused on the state’s energy infrastructure and its capacity to meet the rising demand for sustainable power solutions.
A delegation from the Aditya Birla Group also met with Dr. Yadav to commend the efforts made by the state government in promoting industrial growth. They discussed potential areas of collaboration to tap into the vast industrial opportunities that Madhya Pradesh offers.
Top executives from leading companies also took part in the one-on-one discussions. Mr. Satish Pai, MD of Hindalco, Mr. H.K. Agarwal, MD of Grasim, Mr. Thomas Cherian, MD of Essel Mining, Dr. Param Shah from Arvind Group, and Mr. Gurdeep Singh, Chairman and MD of NTPC, all engaged in in-depth conversations with CM Dr. Yadav. Their meetings touched on a variety of sectors, ranging from mining and textiles to power generation, with an eye on exploring investment potential in Madhya Pradesh.
Lastly, Mr. Rakesh Swami, Group President of Godrej Group, also met with the Chief Minister to discuss the company’s ongoing work in the real estate and township sectors. Mr. Swami provided insights into the group’s plans for expanding its footprint in Madhya Pradesh, a state that is rapidly becoming a hub for industrial and infrastructural development.
