CM criticizes Gandhi family’s 70-year rule

  • Highlights development achievements in Kukshi

Kukshi: Chief Minister Mohan Yadav sharply criticized the Gandhi family for its 70-year rule over the country, claiming that, despite their long tenure, there was little to show in terms of development. Speaking at the 46th foundation day celebration of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) during the Active Member Conference in Kukshi, the CM pointed out that while the Congress initiated the construction of the Sardar Sarovar Dam in 1977, it was Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership that completed the project, fulfilling its promise of development.

The CM also took a dig at the Congress, saying, “Those who cannot contribute to Ram’s cause are of no use.” In his address, Yadav announced a series of new initiatives aimed at boosting local development. He declared that 25% subsidies would be provided to dairy farmers with 25 cows to increase milk production. The CM further noted the rise in wheat prices, mentioning that under their government, the price had increased from Rs 500 per quintal to Rs 2,600 per quintal in just 55 years.

Additionally, the CM announced six major development projects for the Kukshi constituency, including the construction of the Kukshi Western Bypass Road, a walking road from Gurupad Pump to Bypass Chowk, a bridge at Kapasipura, and improvements to roads from Deshwalia to Khandwa, Lingwa, and Nimbol to Kankad. The event, which marked BJP’s founding, began with prayers and lighting of lamps in honor of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, and Mother India.

Union Minister Mrs. Savitri Thakur also addressed the gathering, which included local leaders like State Minister Jaydeep Patel, former MP Chhatarsingh Darbar, and others. The event was attended by a large number of active BJP members from the Kukshi constituency.
