Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav celebrated Deepawali with the elderly at Anand Dham Ashram run by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities in Shivaji Nagar Bhopal. CM Dr. Yadav directed the Commissioner of Social Justice and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities to run old age homes for the elderly in Ujjain, Orchha, Omkareshwar and Chitrakoot and provide necessary facilities to the elderly in them.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav greeted the elderly on Deepawali and received their blessings. CM also lit sparklers with the elderly and celebrated Deepawali by presenting them sweets and gifts. Many social workers were present on this occasion.
CM Dr. Yadav received information about the activities of Anand Dham. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that after God, parents have a place. My parents have left for their heavenly abode. But today after coming to Anand Dham, it seems as if I have come among my parents.
